'Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. '

- James 4:8

"The Bible is the only Book whose Author is always present when one reads it."

First of all, I know that my husband and I haven’t been actively writing and posting as we faithfully want to, but as Abba’s children we know that we are all on a journey with Him. On this journey, He takes us through times and seasons, and this was a season of silence, reflection, and prayer. I thank and praise Abba Father for all seasons in our lives, either good or not so good because this is when we learn more and more about the heart of our Father and His character. Abba Father is the true meaning of love and complete awe.

I know right now we are all facing different challenges in these times.

It affects everyone differently, but we know as Children of God we are firmly building on the Rock of Ages, the great I AM.

'“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: '

'and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.'

- Matthew 7:24-25

When the whole world is in chaos, I heard Abba Father saying:

Be still... (Ps.46)

This is a time to draw away from the things of this world and to draw near to Abba Father.

His Word says:

'My beloved spoke, and said to me: “Rise up, my love, my fair one, And come away.'

- Song of Solomon 2:10

Now we have the advantage of spending more time with our Father. We are so distracted by the things of this world, being busy all the time that we started glorifying the term busy.

Maybe this is the time Abba Father wants to awaken intimate love. He loves us so much and desires an intimate relationship with His children.

This is also a beautiful opportunity to spend quality time with your family and your loved ones. Family is one of the biggest blessings from Abba Father. All the demands of this world made a way for many of us to live past each other. We live under the same roof, but we hardly live for each other or make time for each other. We really take this for granted. Spending quality time together is no longer a priority for this generation. We go to work and after working an 8-hour shift (the majority of us) we say: “my part is done.” What about your family and most important of all: what about God? Isn’t HE supposed to be the head of the house and also the foundation of the household?

This is a time to be humbled, to reflect, but also that the pattern and the order of God’s Word can be revealed to us.

What better way to do this by reading the beautiful and powerful Word of YAHWEH. Do you know that even God exalted His Word above His own Name?

‘For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.’

- Psalms 138:2

Wow!

This is how important the Word of God is.

What an absolute privilege it is to dive into the Word of God.

'All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, '

- 2 Timothy 3:16

Our time spent in Scripture will change us. It truly will! When we willingly surrender all, with our hearts wide open to receive Him, asking the Holy Spirit to reveal His truth to us so that our hearts can be changed. When we give Abba Father full access to every inch of our very existence of who we are, then He equips us as HIS children to be prepared for the tasks HE has for us.

It takes great humility to receive, but also to act upon all that the Holy Spirit reveals to us through the pages of Scripture.

How beautiful and amazing is the love of our Abba Father that HE wants us to reach our fullest potential, to rise up in the most radiant representation of HIS nature. The value of choosing to allow the Word of God to have full authority in our lives is immeasurable. Nothing will even come close or can ever compare to the riches of the living Word of God.

Let’s heed the voice of our loving Father. Spend more time with HIM through His Word, through worship and loving others as Christ loves us. Let us become transparent so that the light of our Father can shine bright through us because nothing is ever hidden from His sight. It’s very comforting to know that we have a good and faithful Father who will faithfully lead us to more of HIM but also make us more like HIM in the process.

Remember this, just as a seed needs to die before it can grow and bear much fruit the same way we need to die to ourselves so that we can grow and bear much fruit.

a Prayer:

Abba Father,

Thank You for your abundant never-ending love in my life.

Thank You for your grace and for forgiving me.

Thank You for showing me my worthiness and for pursuing me.

I am in awe of You Lord, Jesus Christ. I submit my heart and everything that I am to You. May Your Holy Spirit lead me, guide me and transform me to be more like You. I pray to seek you and not to stop seeking You. I know as I draw near to you, You will draw near to me.

I want to be incredibly close to you, where I am transparent. As our intimacy increases, I pray that it keeps on encouraging me to grow and to learn more of Your heart’s desires for me.

Amen.

I AM the well of living water: drinking from ME results in an abundant, fruitful, blessed life in ME.

Blessed be the name of the

Most High God,

Shalom
